I am amazed by the price of LPG mentioned here, nearly twice the usual price. Is it right or wrong?

Just like it happened in Denmark some 15 years ago, the Irish Republic has decided to drop the tax reductions on LPG. Since that decision was taken in 2006 the number of LPG stations has dropped, because LPG was no longer attractive to buy. My source of information was an e-mail from an Irish businessman who used to sell LPG. If the situation with LPG in Ireland is really like in Denmark, then you should not be surprised to see LPG become more expensive than Euro 95 unleaded fuel, so check if your car runs on fuel before you travel to Ireland!

Very old pump and very expensive !
The guy was nice but he did not have an adaptor.

Actually about 0.9 / L. But I do not trust the quality of this lpg : very manual if not prehistorical and the "Calor" trade mark stipulated 'not for automotive", Indeed my car lost lot of power afterwards...
Very expensive - 11.05.2018
We were charged €25 for 24.8 litres!
JF Ballay - 12.05.2018
Very bad service, big wait, misplaced installation, prohibitive price, and finally doubts about the reliability of the meter. To avoid if you can!
D Irwin - 01.11.2018
Remember your adaptor. Very friendly chap filled my vehicle. No more expensive than other Irish LPG suppliers. An old pump but I got what I wanted with no hassle.
Laurence Templeton - 05.01.2019
Old pump and storage tank but friendly staff who filled my camper van system. The price is similar to the Tralee service station.

Can't believe the Kerryman are still at it.
With the old rickety machine they filled me up to 46 liters, where my LPG tank is only 44 liters, and it wasn't even near empty, typical!
So better avoid this place if you can. I will do so for sure
