Description: Large propane tank, found on Google Streetview. Can anybody from Montana, USA, please confirm that they sell autogas (propane, for Americans) from this tank? If not so, please report this station as not selling LPG, by clicking on the red button.
From this side of the Atlantic Ocean (Europe) it is hard to be sure about the filling station I may have found, or what that propane tank is otherwise used for, if not for selling LPG. America is using ACME adapters in general. Can you borrow adapters?
Please also report anything that may be interesting to know for people who are running their cars on autogas/propane: What are the exact opening hours for this propane filling pump? What is the dollar price per liter or gallon for propane, compared to gasoline/petrol?
Does that price include tax benefits, or is more bureaucracy involved? Is this place self service, or serviced by staff? Do staff members even know about cars running on propane? Europeans preparing a road trip are desperately curious to read your comments! ;-)
When driving eastbound on I-90 motorway/interstate, arriving from Butte/White Forks, taking exit 298 offers you almost direct access to this fuel station; You only have to make 2 right turns after the western exit ramp, like you will see upon approaching.
The eastern part of the exit is separated. When driving westbound, arriving from Billings and Bozeman, take exit 298, cross the bridge to the south side, skip I-90 east, turn right onto MT347 and follow Amsterdam Road for almost 1 mile.
