They have an LPG pump in the row of pumps furthest from the road. On the main A52 through Grantham.

Travelling northbound on A1 from London to Newcastle, take B1174 for easy access. You will pass lots of shops (thatś what I saw on Google Maps), then you pass over the railway and you will pass ALDI supermarket on your left hand side. As you drive straight through the crossroads, you will drive onto A52 and pass Pizza Hut. Only 200 metres after Pizza Hut, you will find Esso on your right hand side, so you will have to make a right hand U-turn to get there. You will find LPG in the left most lane, in front of the car wash.
To get back to the A1 northbound, upon exiting Esso, you will have make another right hand U-turn, pass the Carpet Right shop and follow A52 through Grantham town, towards A1 (truck route), because the B1174 road offers only southbound access, towards London. Another way back to A1 would be Springfield Road from Pizza Hut: You drive under a 3,6 metre low bridge and at the traffic lights where KFC is (was?), you then turn left onto A607.
Arriving from Newcastle, you would have to follow A52 through Grantham town, because there is no exit towards B1174. From A52/Newcastle it looks complicated on a map, so you may want to be guided by the 'sweet' voice in your satellite navigation system. (I hate that voice...) ;-)
Very often fuel costs a little less money when you get off the main road. I have not yet been filling up with LPG in the UK, so I don know if Esso Grantham is cheaper. Price of LPG was £0,669 in October 2018, as can be seen on Google Streetview: https://www.google.com/maps/@52.9057929,-0.6373024,3a,15y,349.87h,90.09t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sQ4je9su4w5tw07NALkJBLg!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo3.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DQ4je9su4w5tw07NALkJBLg%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D315.5191%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192
