Verified stations

Verified stations for visitors

A station with the badge is a station on myLPG.eu where the station owner guarantees it exists.

When you see a Verified station, you know that:

• station definitely exists
• the location is correct
• address is up-to-date

Verified station filters

Each station owner has the opportunity to add various station properties (24/7 LPG, Toilet, Adapters to lend, Adapters to buy,...) to their Verified station. These properties can be filtered on both the map of stations in a country and on the list of stations in a country.

If you have a favourite company and that company is also a Verified station owner, you can also filter by that company.

These signs indicate that a station is a Verified station:

• On the map of stations in a country
  • the image over the location of a station on the map is a company's custom one
  • the location stays visible after you pick the "Show only verified stations" filter (or any other filter with the station properties that Verified station has)
  • the location stays visible if it is owned by a company you can pick below the map (the image logo next to the name of the company is the same as for that owner's stations on the map)
• On the list of stations in a country
  • logo of the company is visible next to the name of the station
  • badge Verified station and status code 1 are shown regarding station's status (non Verified stations have total confirmations and the date of the last confirmation)
  • its properties are listed
• On the station's page
  • logo of the company is visible above the name of the station
  • badge Verified station is shown regarding station's status (non Verified stations have total confirmations and the date of the last confirmation)
  • its properties are listed
  • edit buttons are removed; nobody except for the station's owner can edit any info (coordinates, address, schedule, description,...) for that station

It is also possible to download POIs with only Verified stations.

Verified stations for station owners

myLPG.eu is a crowdsourced portal where everybody can edit any info about any station. In most cases the process works perfectly, but once in a while visitors go to a location where there should be a station but it isn't. The frustration is real and justified.

To avoid misinformation and unhappy customers a new functionality was added to the portal - Verified stations, where you, the owner, take complete control of how the info about your station is presented.

Benefits of owning a Verified station:

• Trust

Because nobody else can edit Verified station's info except for you, everybody knows all info is correct. Station is there, schedule is up-to-date.

• Brand recognition

Verified stations have visible logos of the company on the map of stations, on the list of stations and on the station's page. Non verified stations don't have logos of their owners and use a generic image over the location of a station on the map.

• Verified station filters

You have the opportunity to add various station properties (24/7 LPG, Toilet, Adapters to lend, Adapters to buy,...) to your Verified station. These properties can be filtered on both the map of stations in a country and on the list of stations in a country. With these filters you get further ahead of non verified stations because when a visitor filters on a map or on a list, generic stations automatically disappear.

• Notification when a visitor comments

Each station has a comment section, where visitors can express their experience with the station or ask questions about it. Verified station owner gets an email each time a visitor comments on owner's station.

• Download only Verified stations POI

A lot of visitors download POIs of stations' locations for use on their satnavs. They can download only POIs of Verified stations.

Pricing

To maintain and improve user experience and usability of the page, I am charging a small fee (small as a coffee per station per month).

The first company that becomes a verified station owner in a country is eligible of 2€ per station per month fee. (≈0,066€ per station per day)

Every other company that becomes a verified station owner in a country has a fee of 4€ per station per month. (≈0,133€ per station per day).
