There is a new LPG pump in situ since the forecourt re-fit, which doesn’t seem to have been working yet. Rang the filling station yesterday morning to ask if the LPG pump was working, they said yes, went there in the afternoon to be told it wasn’t working atall. The coffee was expensive and terrible, and the whole forecourt smelled very strongly of sewerage.

Have used this station a couple of times recently. As mentioned, the AMCE connection has been changed for the dish type. Helpful staff at the counter will give you one to use while filling if you do not have your own.

Very competitive price on LPG.

LPG Pump dispenser has recently been converted to a French-style (dish) outlet as opposed to the usual Irish ACME type.

My regular LPG station - almost weekly use. Highly recommended. Only once there was a problem with the pump and another time the tank was empty. Pleasant staff.
Reasonable pricing too but not immune to recent inflation - has gone from 0.67 to 0.84 in recent weeks.

LPG Pump is at the left hand side of the station looking from the road to the storefront. Pump is tucked into corner but very accessible as you can essentially orbit the station via the hotel car park to approach the pump from the desired direction.
The store is busy so casually-parked people may obstruct the pump but it's never for long.
Staff are friendly and they do have adaptors but carrying your own adaptor is always a good policy as not everyone handles them well. The pump is a shade slow but in very good condition with no quirks.
The store deli is good for a stop off and if you're heading from Dublin to Limerick/Kerry top up here first - the next cheapest station is Nolan's in Tralee which is €0.869/L at the time of writing (April 20201) with the R445 station on the Dublin road at Limerick being more like €0.94

The Price has just risen from 62.9cpl to 73.9cpl. Saying that Calor have increased their prices.

But 11 cent is a MASSIVE jump; regardless of the price at other stations. I drove out of my way to fill up at the Gandon. But why bother now?

Pump currently working extremely slowly. Over 10 minutes to fill 5 litres into the tank last night. Hopefully they sort the compressor or other likely issue soon

This service station is right beside the motor way and has a great shop and deli, restaurant, ATM, wi-fi and loads of free parking. A great stop off.
