I'm new to the world of LPG, and called in here to fill up. If the price was 99c a week ago, it has now been increased to 1.07.

Well well well. From €1.25 to 99c in less than a week. I always avoided it, despite often passing. But I checked recently and I saw it drop 26c in a week.

Having wondered did the owner come to their senses, I little bird told me that the LPG provider gave the owner an ultimatum to become competitive or lose the sale of LPG. And here we are.
Now at least I can fill up if I want, knowing I'm not being ripped off.

Presently the most expensive fuel in Ireland.
Price is 1.609 per litre.
All other suppliers: 1-1.10 per litre.

I was passing by so I thought I’d drop in to see if they have stopped scamming people.
Nope - price increase of 56% over 10 months. This despite the fact that import prices for LPG have been barely affected by the war in Ukraine, unlike other fuels.
Price is now €1.41

As Ronan has mentioned, it's a complete rip off. His comment is written 1 month before this, and the price has increased by 4c a litre in that time. The whole station has gone under a major refurbishment in the last couple of years. Very tidy, and plenty of choice for food. However, it's the most expensive LPG in the counrty at 1.02/9 per litre, and I have noted the petrol and diesel are also one of the highest with petrol at 1.55 as of July 12 2021. If you can, go to VV Tech in Clonmel, about 15 minutes away. It is, however a bit off the beaten track, but more than 30c a litre cheaper.

Complete rip off.
The station is modern, clean and has a nice deli. Looks like the whole place was recently refurbished but for that price I will not be back.

Happy to report that this service station had Autogas. Nozzle is an ACMA thread which I had a little difficulty using because I had to fit an adaptor to my UK bayonet fitting and it leaked and had to be retightened. Was unable to get a complete fill, as the pump was sooo slow and in the end I gave up at 60L in my 80L.
