We’ve recently purchased a home this year & we’re new to having a propane tank. Davis propane is quick to come & fill our tank even though we live so far out & our driveway is a struggle for them so we are thankful for that. What we do not appreciate is the attitude given to us & the unprofessionalism. Our tank did go empty after we moved in & we did not check it beforehand & that was our fault, but almost a year later we are still getting negative attitude towards us for this incident. Yesterday we scheduled to get our tank filled & Paul Davis Jr. came to refill as usual. As the women in the house I was not going to speak to Paul because of his unprofessionalism & let him slip our bill in the door as he should. I’m not sure if he just got to comfortable with the previous owners of this home, but he OPENED OUR DOOR & started banging on our den door from INSIDE our houses mud room/laundry & storage room. He startled our 5 children that were sitting with me. When I came up to him he gave me the bill (almost $600) & said in quote “hurry up & pay me or I will charge you more”. We have never not paid him beforehand. Then he asked what my husband does for work or if he’s working & I told him he’s been working at the same place for 9 years & recently been promoted to General Manager. He said “ Oh well that’s good then, maybe you guys can start paying attention to your tank & filling it up before it’s empty & pay me”. Our tank has emptied ONE time in the time we have moved here & started our lease. We cannot control what has happened in the past & we do not appreciate the rude & hostile attitude towards us. Very unprofessional to walk into someone’s home without permission & I will personally call the authorities if this happens again.
